The UNHRC's mission is to promote and protect human rights around the world to ensure the implementation of the principle of universality of human rights. In the past decade, we have seen the rise of new conflicts such as The Syrian Civil War and the Yemeni crisis, these are a few of the many regions globally where atrocious human right violations are common, consistent and take place at a massive scale. Hence, the delegates in this conference are tasked with the responsibility to debate, deliberate and decide on methods for the realisation of rights in the regions, to consider whether the end justifies the means and undertake & solve the several challenges on the path to achieving equality, liberty and dignified life for all.
